What is it like working as a postpartum caregiver at Louisiana Baby Company?

You will work directly with new parents and growing families as you care for healthy newborn babies in their homes, allowing parents to rest and recover
You may work with nervous parents who desire help learning to care for their newborn - things like first baths, swaddling guidelines, sleep environment, and nail trimmings are much easier with a knowledgeable support person!
You will support families' desires while advising them on up-to-date guidelines and recommendations regarding feeding, sleeping, products, and more
Louisiana Baby Company will provide you with clients and handle all of the contracts and payments for each client - you get to do what you love and give your full attention to supporting your clients without having to worry about the paperwork

We offer flexible scheduling around your needs
Our offered pay is between $25-35/hour depending on training and experience, with supplementation for extra travel and holiday fees.

Be willing and able to work overnights, days, weekends, holidays, and/or live-in shifts
Be willing and able to communicate effectively and punctually with parents and team members
Be up to date on vaccinations
Be reliable and have references
Be trained, or willing to be trained, as a Postpartum Doula and/or Newborn Care Specialist
